The primary sources used come from the Leipzig Dance Archive and the Federal State Archive of Thuringia that allowed me to access detailed information about the work and Gret Palucca's teaching career. The work in question was carried out mainly in the second half of the twentieth century in the territory of the German Democratic Republic, which is why little has been known in the Latin American world due to geopolitical circumstances, it has not received much attention in the Western world either. In this study, I propose to analyze the pedagogical concept of dance education developed by one of the most prominent characters of modern dance of the twentieth century, the dancer and teacher Gret Palucca.
